I QUIT!!!
Yes, that's right folks, Marie/Mom has quit! The official last day, as far as I know, is July 3. It was July 1 but Jackie is gone with her family and Dr. Jacks asked if I would work those days. What can I say, I am a pushover! Oh well.
The reason I am quiting: I am tired of the soap opera and mostly because one of the girls is stealing and it makes me feel like I am part of it. I don't want anything to do with it. I thought maybe she would get fired today but no such luck!
The Doctors have hired another woman who is older. She used to work for President Dart in his orthodontist office when Thomas had braces. Her name is April and I wish the best for her. Unfortunately, they have Ellie training her. I told Amy she will probably have to retrain. Guess that they will have to work it out. I am not going to do anything about it. Do you believe me? I can't believe I didn't say something today. It was hard!
When I am done I am thinking of taking a road trip to see everyone and bring Jill and Caleb with me so that they can get to know you all better. We will see since it is close to the family reunion I may wait until after. We hope you can all make it. Sorry it is at Dworshack again. Uncle Phil and Grandma took over.
Dad is in the middle of hay harvest and corn planting. Will be glad when it is over. At least he hasn't been quite so grumpy as usual which has been a nice surprise.
Well, we love you all!
Looking forward to just being a MOM again.

Santa Real or Not Real
Hi, this is K. Sometimes you are glad your child is only 1 yr old. Yesterday in Sacrament Meeting (church), the new Elder in the ward was asked to share his testimony. He started giving an analogy about Santa Claus and the Church (a little weird). His final punchline, if you call it that, was we all know that Santa Claus isn't real. At that point I was in shock and so were several of my friends so we really didn't hear what came next, but the poor little 7 year old girl sitting 2 rows in front of us burst into tears. It wasn't the best time to find out the truth about Santa..... I bet the Elder will think twice mayve 10 tens times about sharing that analogy in front of kids! (Luckily a lot of the kids were not paying attention!)

Tooele, UT

Oops! You didn't get my first post. So I will tell you all about it. We decided to take my roommate away for a night. Talena and I yesterday morning decided that we need to take Jenny on a trip. So Talena asked, "Laurie, where should we take Jenny?" She said we can go to Brigham City. I then I said, "We can go to Maddox!" She said "where else can we go?" I then said, "Provo." She said, "Where else?" I then thought to myself where do all of the reps go for Nutty Guys, I then said, "Tooele!" She said, "Yes! Let's go to Tooele!" So we didn't tell Jenny where we were going. We went to Tooele and had dinner and talked to her about her problems. Then took a tour of Tooele. We wanted to find a fun statue but found the fire fighter station and then found a train and a nice park with a nice water fountain. My roommates are really cute. Jenny is right by me and then Talena.

Jack
This is just a little post so you can see how big Jack is getting. The other dog is Duke. Thomas and I adopted him after a visit with Jack to the vet. The animal hospital had found Duke and had given shots and all that good stuff and were just waiting to find him a home. He's having fun on the farm and is Jack's best friend. Since Jack got fixed yesterday they haven't been able to play much and are both moping around a lot. It's cute, but sad.
Smooches

Caleb has a new way of greeting the animals he meets. That's right, he walks right up to them and kisses them on the lips. Yesterday Caleb and I (this is Jill) took Jack to the vet and a really large dog (a little taller than Caleb and probaby 150 lbs.) walked in. Caleb didn't even hesitate. He ran right up to the dog and planted a juicy one right on his lips. The dog looked like it could have gobbled Caleb up in a second so I was a little scared, but Caleb was so happy to see a dog. That's the only word he'll really consistently say now, although he was looking at pictures of Becca and Madelyne as babies last Sunday and he said, "Baby!" for the first time.
Anyway, I didn't have a camera so we had to renact the situation with the help of computer technology. It looks a little weird, but it was really hilarious!

Alayna is the coolest!
I just wanted to say how much I love my sister Alayna. She is the most creative thing around..I just love her! Thanks for being my sister!
Ha! Ha! Ha!!! If you had checked our blog (Ben and Lisa's) back in April, this is what you will find as one of the posts!!! It makes me laugh every time I think of it, because, while I truly do love my sister, Alayna, she posted this herself after she helped me fix our blog!!!
Thanks Alayna for getting the family blog started and for making it look so beautiful!!! We love you!

School is almost out!
I am excited that school is almost out. I have less then a month left. Some students can even tell me how many days are left. I am looking forward to my trip to Hong Kong and Taiwan. I have bought 3 pairs of shorts so I am cooler and maybe I will get a tan. I have been busy with enrichment, the stake play, going on dates, and school. I am also walking with a friend after school and bought a book on a whole bunch of weight exercises. I am looking forward to all of the the fun things that come in the summer. Love ya! Laurie

Homeward Bound (not as in 2 dogs and a cat going home)

Hello Family and thanks to ALAYNA for setting this up. Anyway, I thought I would share some news with all of you for those who have not heard. Adam and I recently found out that we will be extending our stay here in Taiwan until June 2009. We are very excited about this as it will give Adam the opportunity to further his career and also give us more time to explore Asia. Because of the longer stay we will qualify for a home leave and that means we are going to make it to the family reunion this summer! It sounds like most everyone will be there. It will be so great to see everyone! We can't wait! Love, Adam, K and Lizzy
