Here are a few pictures of the wedding and christmas.

Happy New Year!

Well, it has been a long time since I posted anything. I really need to work out some kind of a schedule to do this. It is a new year, so now is a good time to make a change!

It was a wonderful Holiday this year! Timothy and Taun got married the day after Thanksgiving in the Draper Temple and we got to have all of our family together. What a wonderful blessing! It was so great to have all of our children in the Temple together. The Lord has really blessed our family abundantly. How grateful we are for righteous children. You are all such good examples to each other and to us! We love you all so very much. It was so much fun to have all of our grandchildren together with us too. They are all so special and we wish that we could spend more time with each of you. We miss you all and love you very much.

Thomas and Jill got to go to Hawaii to visit with Jill's family for Christmas and Ali starting walking a little. She is so petite it doesn't seem like she should be walking yet. I can hardly believe she will be one year old in a few days.

Thomas has decided to go back to school and earn a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering. They were not home long before finishing their packing to move to Utah. They left on Wednesday just before New Years and got to Utah on Thursday. Went looking for an apartment, moved in on Friday and on Saturday Thomas had a job. They have been truly blessed and this must be really what they are supposed to be doing. We hope they are able to do well and that Thomas will be able to do well in school. We will miss them very much, especially Caleb and Alina.

Dad decided that we are moving into the house where Thomas and Jill have been living. I have been cleaning and moving over a few things and getting things ready to move. It will be interesting to try to move 36 years of stuff. It is going to take a while to sort through things and get rid of the things that we don't really need and figure out how to make what we are keeping fit! Oh boy! We are excited for the small change too.

We continue to work in the Temple every Saturday. What a blessing that is in our life. What a priviledge it is to be in the Lord's House each week and to witness the tender mercies of the Lord and the miracle that take place there on a regular basis for those who come to the Temple and for us as we serve. The Lord truly is mindful of us and our needs. He waits on us to let Him help us. We just need to remember to open the door to let Him bless our lives. Remember to go to the Temple often to participate in all of the ordinances there.

We love you all and hope that you all have a great year!

Who is Who

I actually stole this picture of the Columbia basin ward blog. Who is Who?
I think Dad is left and Uncle Lynn is right. Dad...uncle Lynn...anyone, can you please let us know. Thanks! Also, what year was this taken?

This is no April Fools Joke!

It SNOWED today! April 1 2009. I have never seen it snow here in April before. It hailed a little while before it snowed. We have also had quite a bit of rain the last few days too. Guess it goes with the crazy weather we have had last month. I gotta say though, I am tired of the wind and the cold and dreary days. Spring is here but it still feels like winter.

Here is the back of the quilt. I have started using left over blocks and piecing the back too.

Quilting
I have finally had some time to sew. I quilted a service project quilt for my quilt guild and then made two quilts from one fat quarter pack that Jennifer and Becca gave me probably about two years ago. I had some left over blocks from the lap size quilt and so I made a small quilt about 32x32. Then I got my quilt frame out and started stitching. I am getting better with each quilt I do on the machine. I still have a long way to go. The quilt was quick and fun to do. I think that it took me about 3 days start to finish.
I hope you are all finding some time to do what makes you happy.
