May on the Farm (Thomas & fam)

It's beautiful, but deadly here! Thomas has the worst allergies from hanging out in the hay all day. Caleb's are not quite as bad, although they seem like it because he's eternally teething. I'm allergic to the dust in our yard, but we're so happy to be here and be in the house. Thomas has been really busy, so Caleb and I decided to get out of everyone's hair for awhile and go to see my grandpa in Southern Utah. We flew to Las Vegas and my sister, who's staying with my grandpa, picked us up. We stayed and visited for a week. It was fun seeing my grandpa, who I adore, and seeing that beautiful part of the world. When we came home the house was ready to move in and we've been working to get ourselves settled while Thomas works in the field ever since. It's gonna take a lot of work... especially the yard, since I don't know what I'm doing. Meg has been helping me plan a little and Meg and our neighbors (the Buckleys) have brought us some plants to get started. Do you think that's a hint, or what? We need to stop making the neighborhood look so ugly! Thomas got a calling: Webelo leader. We love that age. They're tons of fun. We're enjoying getting to know people in the ward and getting settled in. We're really excited to see everyone next month. It's really fun for us to live on the mainland... We get to see everyone much more often and I love to travel. Thanks to everyone who let us hang out on our last trip.

Happy Summer, everyone!

Pictures are: Caleb's old hair, his haircut, his new hair, and the house + sand box (yard... Caleb thinks it's his sand box)

How fun to be in your house! We'd love to see pics of the inside when you get it all put together! Good luck on the yard--just be grateful that you have dirt to work with instead of rocks with a little bit of sand. Have fun! Hope to see you soon!

Adam says, "Good luck my friend" referring to the Webelos. He worked in scouts for awhile and had some huligans on his hands.

Anyways, glad to hear that you got to move in. Must be so nice to have your own place again. We can't wait to see it!
